Character Education

H3 = Heart, Head, Hands = H3

Teaching children involves more than just reading, writing and math.  At Marengo, we also teach our students to be better citizens using a program called H3.  H3 stands for Heart, Head and Hands.  There are “8 Great Traits” used to create a “culture of character” in the classroom.  Students learn the traits through discussions, stories and examples that are integrated into the regular curriculum.
