The vision we have for Marengo Ranch 4th and 5th graders is to become a
part of their school leadership by
participation in one of several SL teams. Teachers
lead these teams in providing many forms of service to our school.
There are 4 teams:
Treat
the Earth Right~
This team will lead the
Marengo Ranch Recycling program and will do various activities to improve
our environment throughout the year. If
you care about your environment this is the group for you!
Every
Character Counts~ This
team will help Marengo Ranch students remember to stay focused on the “8
Great Traits”. Students must
be outgoing and good role models as they will be presenting skits at
Friday Sing about the different Character Traits.
If you are a model citizen who likes to perform, this is the group
for you!
At
Your Service~ This
team will focus on Service Learning projects such as “Pennies for
Patients”, Holiday Food Drives, and School Beautification.
If you like to serve your community this is the group for you!
Money
Managers~ This
team will make, sell, and deliver holiday candy-grams, keep the pencil
machine in the library stocked, and approve how the student leadership
money is spent this year. If
you think “money is magic” this is the group for you!
