Galt Horse Assisted Learning and Enrichment Program ~ GALEP
The Galt Horse Assisted Learning and Enrichment Program is offered in the Galt Joint Union Elementary District and welcomes volunteers. This equine-assisted program provides free riding and enrichment experiences for students during the summer, fall, and spring at the arena behind McCaffrey Middle School. The program is a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International.

What is GALEP? The Galt Horse Assisted Learning and Enrichment Program is an equine-assisted learning and enrichment program offered in the Galt Joint Union Elementary School District. Student activities are designed to encourage children to expand their abilities and discover the power of accomplishment through a wonderful creature, the horse.
The program takes place at the GALEP arena behind McCaffrey Middle School on Wednesdays every Fall, Spring, and Summer.
Volunteers Interested: If you are interested in supporting students in this unique enrichment program, please complete and return a GALEP Volunteer Application. Volunteer applications can be downloaded from this page or picked up at the GJUESD District Office at 1018 C. St.
