  to serve the Board of Trustees, the community of Galt, students,    and staff as Superintendent.  This is a wonderful district that            offers great things for students and staff.  My goal is to

 Mrs. Lois Yount became Galt Elementary’s Superintendent on
 July 1, 2021.  Mrs. Yount has served over 20 years in the District.   She started her career as a bilingual 4th grade teacher at River   Oaks Elementary School.  Her roles in the District have included   Assistant Principal, Principal, and Principal on Special   Assignment.  Most recently she has served as the District’s Chief   Business Officer since 2018.  In addition, she has experience as a   Principal Coach with the Sacramento County Office of Education’s   Leadership Institute.  

 Mrs. Yount holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies   from California State University, Chico and a Master’s of Science   in Law from McGeorge School of Law.  She holds a clear multiple   subject teaching credential with a bilingual option and a clear   Administrative Services credential.
